ERTA "Climate Change Reporting Outlook Report" Published!

The launch meeting of the "ERTA Climate Change Reporting Outlook Report", which is prepared by the Integrated Reporting Association Türkiye (ERTA) in cooperation with Allianz Türkiye and Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye (TSKB) in consultancy with Escarus (TSKB Sustainability Consultancy), took place in a hybrid format at TSKB.

Opening speeches of the meeting were delivered by ERTA Chair Prof. Dr. Güler Aras, TSKB Executive Vice President and Sustainability Leader Meral Murathan and Allianz Türkiye CFO Ersin Pak.

The "Climate Change Reporting Outlook Report", presented by Escarus Director Melis Bitlis, is the first of its kind in Turkey and aims to provide an overview of climate-based reporting, which is an important tool for understanding, managing and communicating the threats arising from the climate crisis to stakeholders, and to guide all institutions with scenario analyses.

A panel discussion, moderated by Prof. Dr. Güler Aras, focused on compliance with Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS) and future steps for companies. With the valuable participation of Heads of Department from Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority, Capital Markets Board of Türkiye and Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, the impacts of legal regulations on companies and the banking sector in Turkey within the scope of TSRS 1 and TSRS 2, the requirements of climate-based sustainability reporting and road maps on improving the investment climate in Turkey were evaluated.
